Why Kinesthetic Development?

Kinesthetic activities involve using the body to solve problems, make things and convey ideas and emotions.  We believe that every child is Kinesthetic and the program aims at channelizing this kinesthetic energy into different activities!


Fun-O-Movement - 4 weeks
Afternoon FUN

Developing the child's kinesthetic and tactile qualities forms the core of this program. The inter-personal and intra-personal development happens through team games and individualistic performances.

The focus is on activities such as body movements, dance, role play, pantomiming etc that promise's to be loads of creative fun!

Exploratory Play When children engage in exploratory play they develop a perception of themselves as "explorers" - competent, confident learners who ask questions and make discoveries.

Children learn through play by doing, by asking questions, by interacting with others, by setting up theories or ideas about how things work and trying them out. If their play is well supported by adults, children will learn that trying things out, exploration and curiosity are important and valued ways of learning.

Children develop strategies for actively exploring and making sense of the world by using their bodies and all their senses, as well as tools, materials and equipment to extend their skills. They become confident in using a variety of strategies for exploring and making sense of the world, such as setting and solving problems, looking for patterns, asking questions, explaining and listening, and using trial and error. They develop mathematical concepts such as numbers, length, weight, volume, shape and pattern for meaningful and increasingly complex purposes.

Levels of Play

 Solitary Play This type of play is one of the earliest stages of play. Onlooker Play Play in which the child who is playing is observing the children arould them. Parallel Play This is play in which several children are playing with the same materials, but are not playing together. Associative Play Play in which several children are playing together but in a loosely organized fashion. Cooperative Play This type of play is when children a
